Nagle Junior Art Prize 2014
The Nagle Education Alliance of Australia conducted a competition for primary students in all member primary schools throughout Australia.
The Nagle Junior Art Prize is an exciting opportunity for students of primary schools in the NEAA. We believe it is a means of engaging students with the powerful legacy of Nano Nagle and of encouraging students to consider the relevance of her challenge in their contemporary world.
There was excellent support for this competition from across Australia. The theme of the competition was "Nano Nagle and her work".
The winner of the competition was Lauren Bikim from St Paul's Primary School in Karratha, WA. She won $50 prize plus $50 for a Presentation Charity.
Second Prize went to Ricci Ann Long from St Joan Of Arc School in Haberfield NSW, with a $20 prize
Third prize went to Eliza Chaney from St Thomas Primary School in Claremont WA with a $10 prize
