NAGLEFEST PRIZE 2015
The Naglefest short film competition was held for the first time in 2015.
It was open to Year 9 and 10 students in NEAA schools. Entrants were asked to submit a short film with the theme of “Presentation People – Shaping an ongoing Story. The films illustrated how schools are continuing Nano's legacy as Presentation People. Films were judged on their ability to provoke thought, to entertain, to charm and to showcase the charism of the school. Each film was required to include the thoughtful use of a signature item: a lantern.
Students were responsible for the development, scripting, direction and production of their entries, which showcased some of the very great talents that students display in this area. A national Judging Panel chaired by Chris Pearson of Presentation College Windsor selected the winning and short-listed entries.
The winning films were:
First Prize:
'Let the Light Shine True' - Domremy College
Second Prize:
'A Never-Ending Story' - Star of the Sea College
Honourable Mentions
'The Heart' - Presentation College Windsor
'Shaping the Ongoing Story' - Star of the Sea College
Prizes were awarded at the April Presentation Schools Conference in Melbourne, where the four top films were shown to the general acclaim of delegates.
