2020 Leadership Forum

Building on the inaugural Principal’s Retreat in 2018 and our successful 2019 Staff Conference in Brisbane, this year NEAA will be offering a Spiritual Leadership Forum. This event will be open to Principals and Leaders in Presentation schools and communities throughout Australia. The forum will be held at the Rendezvous Hotel at Scarborough Beach, 14kms from Perth CBD. With support from BBI – The Australian Institute of Theological Education, NEAA has secured two expert theologians who will each present two sessions. The forum will also be an opportunity to network with like-minded colleagues from Presentation schools and communities from throughout Australia as well as enjoy some time taking an early morning walk along the iconic Scarborough beach or a swim in the Indian Ocean.

Presenters:
Professor Anne Tuohy began her career in education as a primary school teacher in Wellington. After teaching in New Zealand and the UK, she embarked on formal theological study in Sydney – completing both her Bachelor and Master's degrees in Theology at the Sydney College of Divinity. Anne was awarded a Doctorate in Philosophy from The Australian Catholic University.

Dr Michelle Jones is passionate about discovering the living flame of love within the theological tradition and helping others to encounter that love. Her areas of interest include Spirituality, Christology, Trinitarian Theology and Scripture with a particular specialisation in Carmelite Spirituality. Michelle has a Doctorate in Theology and a Licentiate in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas  in Rome, and a Master of Theology from the University of Notre Dame, Australia.
